Dear Mr. Biswas,
Wish you and everyone at Trailblazers a Very Happy New Year too!
I am really glad I sent the children with Trailblazers to the Swiss Ski Camp. They had a great time and learnt a new sport.
Aakanksha enjoyed skiing immensely. Towards the end, on the narrower slopes, she was a bit scared, but she has learnt to conquer her fear at the slopes and even in life. Let me tell you how. The day after she got back, she had to give a speech, for election as head girl, to half her school and all the teachers. Normally, she would have been nervous and would have rattled of her speech. This time, however, she gave her speech in a much more composed manner. She told me that; "if you've skied on those slopes, you're not scared of anything!"
I think this has been an enriching experience for both the children. They have grown as human beings and found inner strength and a new confidence in their abilities.
I would like to put on record my appreciation for the care you have taken of Sagar. Kiran's calling me up immediately from there, your calls to me, Kiran making Sagar sleep in her room when he was feverish, all this was beyond my expectation. Initially I was apprehensive, but I am very happy with the care taken of Sagar. He is already raring to go for the ski camp next year.
Thank you so much Kiran and Trailblazers. Here's wishing you all the best in all your endeavors. |

Dear Ranjan,
A very happy new year to everyone in the trailblazers family... oops! what did i say??!! family?!! ...yes!! that's exactly how it feels... like family... just as homely, kind, caring and close every family feels.. it is this same special feeling that the word "trailblazers" evokes in our mind.
Our boys Ritvij and Purujith have been attending camps for over three years with the trailblazers family and they have moved from being very young boys into semi-adulthood during these years.
The camp to Switzerland was, in my boys' words,"awesome"! When I asked them what they enjoyed the most and what moment will be frozen in time for them always, they promptly said that the act of sailing over the slopes is an unimaginable wonder that will always stay with them.
I deeply thank the trailblazers team for giving my children an opportunity to experience this wonder. They have had a blast and told me that they were loathe to come back. Not only did their bodies soar over those slopes, their spirits did too!
The camp details were all handled in the usual professional, meticulous and detailed manner that is the hallmark of every trailblazer camp.I knew exactly what to do, how to do and when to do and I would imagine this is what daunts most parents.. the nitty gritty of travel and stay arrangements. All that I had to do was pack and deliver the boys at the airport.
The boys have had a very cosy stay coupled with frenetic activity with the added fun of visiting the museum at Lausanne, Chateau de Chillon and Aquaparc.I fervently wished on many occasions that I could join in the fun!
The team kept posting snaps everyday and therefore we literally had a photographic coverage of their progress. There were also email updates that kept us posted on their movements.
The learning quotient in all these camps is enormous. Not only do the kids learn and discover about the places they visit, the other vital learnings as regard group dynamics,self-reliance, accepting responsibility and personality development are extremely vital links in the childen's overall development.I really thank trailblazers once again for treading this new path so that the others can discover the magic of this wonderful world.
Yours sincerely,
Jayashri

DSB International School is proud to be associated with TRAILBLAZERS. Our association goes back over four years during which they have organized for us a variety of residential trips with programmes designed specifically to our requirements.
They have gone to a lot of trouble to understand our needs, our priorities and ethos of the school. They have chosen hotels that, while not exorbitant, were clean, safe, obliging and which provided nutritious and tasty meals, basically Indian but adapted to western taste.
We have been impressed by the commitment and training of the instructors, their flexibility, their enthusiasm, their depth of knowledge and their relationship with the children. Through them our pupils have had a wealth of experiences, visiting places we would never have discovered ourselves, while at the same time showing, and teaching, a sensitivity to the local environment and people, they have seen that the pupils got hands-on experience at every opportunity, and lead sessions in a diversity of contexts e.g. meditation and astronomy.
If you want your children to have good teaching and learning experiences, delivered by providers who know their subject, then I have no hesitation in recommending TRAILBLAZERS and their team of organizers and instructors.

Dear Ranjan,
Let me take this opportunity to wish you & all at Trailblazers a very happy
new year.
Its been just 2 months that I've known you all but seems since much longer
than that. The reason being the constant interaction between us.
Aman still comes up with the stories of his adventures at Viamonde, which
only tells how much he enjoyed the Ski camp. This was one exhilarating
experience for him & I believe all credit goes to the excellent tour
organised by you at Viamonde. He has had a wonderful time with all the
councellors or instructors, however you may call them. Not to forget the
great friend he found in Kiran, who was not only warm, but also did her best
as a leader of the tour. I am proud of your team.
I very much appreciate the was the tour was conducted. The handling of money
to taking care of personal belongings, it was done with utmost care. What
more can any parent ask for!
I also appreciate Kiran to keep us posted with the progress report of the
children, it was personally written to all I believe & that really is
appreciated. Her efforts to get back to all of us with the progress of our
children is really great, considering her busy schedule there.
I also appreciated the pictures posted on the site, though, of course, I
could not see all the pictures as some never opened in about 2 pages & then
of course, more pictures would have been a treat to us. I guess you could
have arranged some more pictures to be posted from the places they visited.
But nonetheless, we feasted on whatever was served to us & savoured every
bit.
Thank you for everything & I will definately look forward to other tour in
Dec. Do convey our regards to Kiran & all others who were so kind & cooperative at your office anytime we called.
Thanks once again.
p.s. We look forward to the CD you are going to send us, which has recorded
the precious moments of the Ski Camp.
With warm regards,
From: Suketu & Heena. (Parents of Aman Majithia, participant of TRAILBLAZERS Ski camp, Switzerland December 2003)
