Sample Itinerary

Day 1
  • Arrive at Dehradun airport and drive to the campsite near Srinagar(Uttarakhand). (Approximate distance is 108 Km).
  • Check in to the campsite.
  • Orientation to the trip, energizers, acclimatization hike (if time permits) and dinner.
Day 2
  • Feel refreshed with a yoga/ meditation/ warm ups/ in the morning.
  • Drive to the campsite near Ukhimath (Approximate distance is 85 km). Check in by noon.
  • Engage in an interactive fun team activity to deeply understand the 7 Leave No Trace principles.
  • Develop survival skills, self-reliance, problem-solving abilities, enhance teamwork, practice resource conservation, and engage in a wilderness survival session.
  • Preparation for the Deoriatal trek.
  • Wrap up the day with a lighthearted reflections session, sharing hilarious highlights and memorable moments from the day.
Day 3
  • Drive from the campsite to Sari village (Approximate distance is 15 Km).
  • Trek through vibrant forests to a hidden emerald lake, Deoria Tal (Altitude - 8000 ft above sea level, Grade- Easy). Gaze at the majestic Himalayan peaks reflected on its still waters, and breathe in the crisp mountain air.
  • Return to the campsite.
  • At the campsite, learn essential skills: rope knot tying, route mapping, navigation, etc.
  • Mt. Chandrashila Summit ascent preparation.
  • After reflecting on the day's adventures, groove to lively tunes around the bonfire, igniting an evening filled with laughter and camaraderie.
Day 4
  • Drive in the early hours to the base of Mt. Chandrashila (Approximate distance is 50 Km).
  • As you ascend, witness the transformation of the sky from inky darkness to streaks of vibrant colors.
  • Try to spot Uttarakhand’s state bird - Monal Pheasant on your way up.
  • Pass by at one of the highest Lord Shiv temples in the world at Tungnath.(Optional) or proceed for another km to the Summit
  • Reach to the top of Mt. Chandrashila. Be rewarded with a breathtaking Himalayan panorama bathed in the golden hues - a truly unforgettable experience and watch the lofty peaks of the Himalayan range!
  • After the descent, drive back to the campsite (Approximate driving distance is 50 Km).
  • Gather around a crackling bonfire, share stories of your adventure with your friends, and let loose with some music. Bask in the accomplishment of reaching the summit.
Day 5
  • Check out of the campsite and drive to Srinagar(Uttarakhand) (Approximate distance is 85 Km).
  • Check in to the campsite by noon.
  • Get ready for an adrenaline rush with bridge-slithering, ziplining, and a scenic hike!
  • Reflections for the day.
  • Wrap up your unforgettable adventure with a grand finale! Celebrate your accomplishments with a certificate distribution ceremony, a night filled with laughter and entertainment at a talent show, and a bonfire under the stars. Share stories, showcase your hidden talents, and create lasting memories with your friends.
Day 6
  • Check out of the campsite.
  • Drive to Dehradun Airport (Approximate distance is 108 Km) to begin your return journey.

Yes, all participants will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the camp as a token of their involvement and accomplishments during the camp.

To ensure personalized attention and safety, the camper-to-staff ratio is kept low. We have one staff member for every 15 children, ensuring that each child is properly supervised and engaged in all activities.

We strive to accommodate children with special needs. Please inform us about any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements during registration, and we will make the necessary arrangements to ensure your child's comfort and safety.

In case of an emergency, we have a well-established protocol in place. This includes access to medical facilities, trained first-aid responders, and emergency contacts with the camp’s management team. Parents will be informed immediately if any urgent situation arises.

Our camp counselors are trained to handle situations of homesickness. We provide a supportive and nurturing environment to help children adjust and feel comfortable. Regular communication slots with parents are also available to ease any anxiety.

While we encourage children to focus on the camp’s activities, small personal items like books, toys, or gadgets can be brought for personal use. However, please note that electronic gadgets (such as tablets and video games) are not encouraged as they can interfere with the camp experience. The responsibility for any such gadget lies with the child.

We take food allergies and special dietary needs very seriously. If your child has any food allergies (e.g., nuts, dairy, gluten) or other dietary restrictions, please inform us during registration. We will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure safe, allergy-friendly meals are provided. We recommend sending a note with detailed information regarding your child’s allergies or dietary requirements for added precaution.

Even though this is a Himalayan expedition, it is relatively easier to complete with just basic fitness levels. However, we will provide detailed preparatory guidelines to ensure the child is ready for the Summer Camp

The camp includes a variety of child-friendly activities such as: Adventure Activities like Jumaring, Obstacle Course, Rope Ladder, Bridge Slithering and Spider Web, Nature walks and exploration, Team-building games, Mountaineering specific activities, White- Water Rafting (Under strict safety protocols), Creative learning activities and games.

Yes, all camp staff are trained in first aid and safety protocols. Additionally, we have a dedicated medical team on-site to handle any emergencies. The camp also adheres to strict safety measures for all activities, ensuring that children are always in a secure environment.

All activities are conducted with a focus on safety. Participants are closely supervised by experienced staff members, and all safety equipment (like helmets, life jackets, and safety harnesses) is provided. Before engaging in any activity, children are briefed on the safety rules and guidelines. Additionally, there are clear emergency procedures in place.

We provide a variety of meals to cater to different dietary preferences: Vegetarian, Non-Vegetarian, Jain, Please inform us about any specific dietary requirements during registration, and we will ensure appropriate meals are provided.

On Day 1 and Day 6, students will stay at Neeraj Bhawan (or similar), a 3-star hotel in Rishikesh. In Kund, students will stay at Vedant Valley Resort. Accommodations are gender-specific and rooms are shared on a triple-sharing basis to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all campers.

We have a dedicated communication slot every evening after dinner, where parents can interact with their children. This ensures regular updates and connections during the camp.

Phones are permitted, but it is the participant’s responsibility to keep them safe. Phones must be switched off during camp activities to ensure full participation and engagement in the activities.

Yes, an online orientation session will be organized before the camp begins. This will provide all the necessary details about the camp, including schedules, activities, and safety protocols.
